Making Their Mark: Coahoma & Tunica County

The historical marker for the counties of Coahoma and Tunica will honor 7 African American men elected to the legislature in the 19th century.

Current status (April 21, 2026): approved by Board of Supervisors and MDAH, submitted to manufacturer for delivery in late 2026
