Appears on the 1870 census in Panola County with his parents, W. and Julie, and siblings. Married Thursday Nance on July 6, 1871. Appears on the 1880 census with Thursday and children, mother Julie and some of his siblings living with them. Thursday appears in both 1900 and 1910, and their children are well documented in later records.
The middle initial “A” comes from his headstone. Family trees on Ancestry list his middle name as Augustus, but I haven’t found a source for this yet.
