To the Sheriff of Lowndes County

Greeting:

Whereas, at the November Term, 1874, of the Circuit Court of Lowndes County, in said State, Robert Gleed was Indicted for the crime of Assault and battery with intent to Kill, and by the Court held to answer

Now, Therefore, I, A K Davis Lieut Gov Actg Governor of the State of Mississippi, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of said State, and for divers good and sufficient reasons, me, thereto moving, do grant unto the said Robert Gleed a full pardon for said crime of Assault and battery with intent to Kill and do authorize and direct you, on receipt of these presents, to release him from confinement.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Mississippi to be affixed this 27th day of November 1874.
