Making Their Mark: National Figures
The historical marker that honors Senator Hiram Revels, Senator Blanche K. Bruce, and Congressman John Roy Lynch will be placed on the campus of Jackson State University at the intersection of Prentiss Street and John R Lynch Street.
Current status (July 20, 2026): approved by JSU officials and MDAH Board of Trustees, order being sent to manufacturer for delivery in early 2027
