A Mississippi Rascal in Kentucky

Rev. William Gray, (col.) elder of the Independent Baptist Church in this city, who came to Lexington some time last Spring, was arrested yesterday on a warrant sworn out by the trustees of his church, charging him with appropriating to his own use the funds of the church. He was taken before Judge Stevenson, and gave bail in the sum of $1,000 to await the action of the grand jury. Gray is said to have been a member of the State Senate of Mississippi previous to his coming to Kentucky. -Lexington (Ky.) Press.
