A correspondent of the New York Times reports as delegates representing Mississippi in the Chattanooga Convention, Hon. A. P. Huggins, Hon. Geo. M. B. Sullivan, Hon. Wm. Gray, Hon. W. R. Griggs, Hon. Geo. F. Brown, Hon. E. Hill, etc., “and forty-nine others of note.” Great heavens! can it be that Mississippi had any men at that manufacturing pow-wow “of lesser note” than those named?
