Important to Teachers and Students.
A Colored Teachers’ Normal will open at Pass Christian, Miss., beginning Monday, August 10th, 1908, and continuing for four weeks.
Prof. R. S. Bailey, a noted educator, will be the Conductor, ably assisted by others.
At the close an examination will be conducted, and licenses made will be valid all over the State. All teachers, college students and advanced public school pupils within two hundred miles should attend. This is a rare opportunity. After four weeks’ tutorship any studious 8-grader, or those higher, should be able to make a license to teach. Those having licenses have an opportunity to secure higher ones, besides a record may be made.
Board may be had for $3 per week.
Those desiring rooms or other information should address J. W. Randolph, Pass Christian, Miss.
