JEREMIAH M. P. WILLIAMS, formerly a colored representative of Adams county in the State senate, died at his home in Minorville, yesterday. During the days of radical rule, and when the colored people had first taste the sweets of liberty, Jerry Williams was a power among them. He was elected by the radical party as senator from this county. After his term expired he was no more heard of in politics, and has lived a quiet life in the suburbs of this city, where he died yesterday.
