RECEPTION. – There will be a grand reception given by the stewardesses and a committee of members of St. Peter’s Chapel A. M. E. Church, Port Gibson, to the Rev. H. M. Foley and his family, next Friday and Saturday evenings, April 1st and 2nd, at Daughters of Conference Hall. The committee of arrangements will spare no pains in making the occasion one of taste and enjoyment to all their guests in the way of eatables – mutton, roast turkey, chicken salads, ice cream, cake and fruits, which will be rare and toothsome. The Hon. Thomas Richardson will deliver the address and will be replied to by the Rev. H. M. Foley. Admission 10 cents.
