George W. Huntley (Bolivar County)

Farmer and teacher. Birth information from the 1888 House Journal. Listed on the 1880 census in Concordia, MS, with wife Lizzie Beuford (married 1877) and son Willis. According to the WPA history of Bolivar County, he served as a Justice of the Peace from 1877-1881. On the 1900 census, he was a widower living in Red Fork, Arkansas. The 1910 census lists him as “Prof G. W. Huntley,” still in Desha County, AR.
