Meeting at Haven’s Chapel to Raise Fund
The Clarksdale and Coahoma County Civic League will have a call meeting at three o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Haven’s Chapel of the M. E. Church to raise funds for the Red Cross to use in assistance of those in flooded areas and refugees. The colored people of this section are urged to attend the meeting. Those in charge of the meeting will be G. T. Thomas, George H. Oliver, and Reverends W. T. Strong, B. L. Woolfork, Mark Peterson, E. G. Mason and others.
