LAKE CLUB, HINDS CO., MISS.
To the Editors of the Pilot:
This Club met on the 2d instant. The President not being present, William Brown was elected President, pro tem., and J. M. Perkins, Secretary.
After attending to the regular business of the Club, a resolution was offered, pledging the Club to stand by the party nominees, both State and District. A number of new members joined the Club, after which, the Club was favored with an address from Hon. Geo. G. Mosely, his subject being “Unity in the Party.”
The Mississippi PILOT and Jackson Times were requested to publish the proceedings of this meeting.
