Making Their Mark: National Figures
The historical marker that honors Senator Hiram Revels, Senator Blanche K. Bruce, and Congressman John Roy Lynch will be placed on the campus of Jackson State University at the intersection of Prentiss Street and John R Lynch Street.
Current status (March 31, 2026): approved by JSU officials, application submitted to Department of Archives and History for approval at summer board meeting
