Making Their Mark: Leflore, Carroll, and Grenada
The historical marker for the counties of Leflore, Carroll, and Grenada will be placed at the county courthouse in Greenwood to honor 4 African American men elected to the legislature in the 19th century.
Current status (March 31, 2026): approved by county Board of Supervisors, application submitted to Department of Archives and History for approval at summer board meeting
