The State of Mississippi–Lowndes County,
To the Sheriff of Lowndes County—Greeting:
We Command you to Summon C. Hardy, A. S. Payne, John Miller, G. T. Smith, J. T. Harrison, Sr, C. E. Dancey if to be found in your County, personally to be and appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court of said county, at the Court House, in the town of Columbus, on the 3rd Monday of Oct 1876, to-wit: on the 23 day of Oct 1876, being a day in said Term of said Court, to attend from day to day and Term to Term, until discharged by due course of law, then and there give evidence in behalf of the Plff in a certain cause therein pending wherein The State Miss. Plaintiff, and Robert Gleed is Defendant.
Herein fail not, under the penalty prescribed by law.
WITNESS my hand and seal of office, this the 22 day of Augst 1876, the same being the date of issuance hereof.
