Part of State of Mississippi vs. Robert Gleed
THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, LOWNDES COUNTY.
Before me, E H Hargrove, Sheriff of said county, this day appeared Robt Gleed Daniel Davis and Ephraim Curry and Edmund Hamilton who acknowledged themselves indebted, jointly and severally, to the State of Mississippi, in the sum of One hundred & fifty dollars, to be levied of their respective goods and chattels, lands and tenements. The condition of said recognizance is, that whereas, at the October term, A.D. 1874, of the circuit court of Lowndes county, a bill of indictment was found by the Grand Jury of said county against the above named Robt Gleed charging him with Assault and Battery with intent to Kill
Now, if the said Robt Gleed does personally appear before the circuit court of said county, at the Court House thereof on the Fourth Monday of April A.D. 1876, to answer said charge of which he is Indicted, and shall not depart from said court, but shall remain from day to day and from term to term, until he shall be fully discharged, then this recognizance to be void.
In witness whereof, they hereunto put their names and seals this 22 day of April A.D. 1876.
