The State of Mississippi–Lowndes County.

To The Sheriff of Lowndes County–Greeting:

We Command you to take the body of Robert Gleed if to be found in your County, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Judge of our Circuit Court, now in session, for the County of Lowndes, at the Court House in the town of Columbus, on the 4 Monday of April 1876, then and there to answer the State of Mississippi, on an Indictment found by the Grand Jurors of said State at October Term 1874 of our said Circuit Court for Assault & Battery with intent to Kill contrary to the statute in such case made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the State of Mississippi.

Bond will be required in the sum of — Dollars.

Herein fail not, and have then and there this Writ.

Witness, my hand and seal of office at Columbus, this the 8th day of March 1876, the same being the day of issuance hereof.
