Ralph Williams

Ralph Williams (Marshall County)

State House: 1874-1875

Born: c. 1840 in Mississippi

Member of the House committee on Buildings and Grounds. Williams is listed on the 1870 census in Marshall County with the occupation of carpenter and a wife named Anne. A 50-year-old man named Willis Williams, recorded as “dumb” by the census taker, also lives in the household and is almost certainly a relative, possibly Williams’ father.
