Anderson Boyd (Oktibbeha County)

Born: February 1835 in South Carolina

Enlisted in the 3rd U.S. Colored Cavalry on November 20, 1863. Appears with wife Hester and various children on the 1870, 1880, and 1900 census in Oktibbeha County. In his Historical Sketches of Oktibbeha County, Thomas Battle Carroll mentions that Boyd served as a justice of the peace for Beat 5.
