Died:<\/strong> February 9, 1874 in Lowndes County, MS<\/p>\n

Served on the Committee on Public Buildings and Grounds. His eulogy in the House referred to him as “a young man of remarkable promise, just entering on the great theater of life” and emphasized his dedication to education. He was probably related to Jesse Hamilton “Ham” Glenn, a preacher listed on the 1870 and 1880 census in Lowndes County.<\/p>\n
