P. JACOBS<\/a>, Assistant Commissioner of Immigration, yesterday passed through Jackson, <em>via<\/em> Vicksburg and Meridian Railroad, having in charge three car-loads of immigrants, from Atlanta, Georgia, <em>en route<\/em> for the river counties. About one hundred of the number stopped off at Jackson, and were immediately supplied with places to work, in Hinds county and vicinity.
