Permanent Organization – Platform.
A permanent organization of the Central Anti-Prohibition Club was effected at the City Hall last Saturday night, by the election of Col. Jones S. Hamilton as President; M. M. McLeod, Secretary; H. Spengler, Sr., Treasurer. The meeting, which was very largely attended, was addressed by Messrs. M. M. McLeod, John McGill, Henry Strauss, R. C. Kerr and Jones S. Hamilton. One hundred and twenty-seven names were added to the roll of members, making a total of 525.
