Mr. Overton, (col.) requested and obtained leave to spread the following upon the journal.

MR. SPEAKER: I desire to say that in my minority report in the matter of the official conduct of Lieutenant-Governor Davis, I did not intend to cast any reflections upon the honest intentions of the majority of said committee or any member thereof, and I desire this statement to be spread upon the journals of this House as a part of my report.
