MIXED COLORS.

A Negro Convention Broken Up by Republicans.

Columbus, Ohio, 20. A mass State convention of colored voters was held here to-day, which was captured by Democrats and afterwards reorganized by Republicans, when the former bolted and two conventions were held. The bolters appointed Peter H. Clark, Richard Jones, A. J. Davison and J. Allen Ross as delegates to the National convention at Louisville on September 24th, and adopted a resolution condemning the Republicans. The other convention refused to appoint delegates and endorsed the Republican ticket.
