one Sigh Jenkins Broke Jail here on 4th July this Present month.
He was committed to Jail May 3rd 1872 for Shooting his wife with intent to Kill and about a week afterwards she died from the effects of his shooting and have been in my custody since until his Escape. I have had a strong Guard out since his Escape but up to this time no trace of his apprehention I have offered $100 myself for his apprehention.
he is about five feet 11 in high, and about 26 years old Showes his teeth when spoken to, he is Spare Built, Evidently Showes Guilt when spoken to. I have not spared means & Proper diligence to recapture him [fold] shall fail to do so
