C. J. Jones, the colored attorney who was bound over to the Circuit Court last week for embezzlement, made an affidavit against Caroline Jameison, who caused his arrest, for perjury. She was tried before Justice O’Bannon Wednesday afternoon, and was made to give bond in the sum of $100 for her appearance at the Circuit Court. Mr. D. C. Wasson was the prosecuting attorney, and Harris appeared for defendant.
